Completely open borders have fueled the ethno-nationalist backlashed we have been experiencing throughout the previous tenure, whereas a system of sensible limitations to the influx of immigrants has, as the last election results have shown, depressed such sentiment. Additionally, the Dranish citizenship should be a privilege and not a right that people should be able to apply for and receive as easily as a new car plate.
