Bill: The Regulation of Religious Schools Act
Details

Status[?]: defeated

Voting deadline: December 2183
Description[?]:
We are living in a secularist society; each of the five major parties are, at the least, secular leaning. The Aldegarian Soviet have drawn up this bill to make religious education represent the views of society, both in religion and liberality. We should regulate these schools, under present policy there is no system for regulating these schools which means there is no way of knowing what is happening within them, however it is important to remember that to only allow official religions to set up these schools and to say to other nonofficial ones, 'You are not a real religion, you can't set up a school', is rather unfair, to say the least. As long as these schools are present in our society we should try to be as fair as possible to them, whilst still regulating them strictly. Thank you. |
