Details
Submitted by[?]: Socia Libereco Partio
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4168
Description[?]:
Our country has changed. Our current national anthem is, in my opinion, not suitable (enough) anymore for our beautiful nation. With I a new national anthem, we can create unity again and so we will make Zardugal better and better! |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The lyrics of the national anthem.
Old value:: Ancient Augustan (Arcaicam Esperantom): Μιἱ εκκοναμς τυϊν λεζ Κλιγγομ Γλαϝες, ιμποναμ. Transliteration: Mihi ecconams tuin lez Clingom Glawes, imponam. Mihi ecconams tuin lez Widom, cuyu Phortod pashas sobrez Terom. Ecghermintam Osteys sancteys Aùgustaneys, ed, cuyel pasintetzœ, curaghœ, estu salutatam, ho salutatam, Liberom! Luthori (English): I shall always recognize you by the dreadful sword you hold as Terra with searching vision you survey with spirit bold From the Augustans of old whose dying brought to life and spirit free now with ancient valour rising let us hail you, oh Liberty!
Current:
Luthorian (English): Into the world came a new feeling, through the world goes a powerful call; by means of wings of a gentle wind now let it fly from place to place. Not to a bloodthirsty sword does it draw the human family: to the eternally fighting world it promises sacred harmony. Under the sacred sign of the hope the peaceful fighters gather, and this affair quickly grows by the labours of those who hope. Walls of millennia stand firmly between the divided people; but the stubborn barriers will jump apart, knocked apart by the sacred love. |
Proposed:
Augustan (Esperanto): 'Himnon por Libereco' Zardugalo, Zardugalo Ami kaj honoro inundi niajn korojn! Fiero kaj justeco, kiel Laŭro petalo Forta kaj firma nian remparoj! Luthori (English): 'Hymn for Liberty' Zardugalo, Zardugalo Love and honour flood our hearts! Pride and fairness, like a Laurel petal Strong and steadfast our ramparts! Strenght and wisdom made us great For the glory predestinate, With the gods by our sides, Love the motherland, at the seaside! |
