Description[?]:

Seeing that it is important for us to make provisions in the development and advancement of our defence force, mainly our defensive and possibly offensive capabilities, it therefore necessary for us to recognize the fact that without the capability and capacity to conduct sustained military operations might it be abroad or at home, the defence force does not meet its aim of defending the interests of this nations.
In the event that our foreign interests are threatened, although we are capable of responding to said threat, without a naval base and combined arms support, we cannot sustain a war on our own, without using a naval base/air base/military base (which we do not have). That is why this proposal is being made. With a naval vessel called Aircraft Carrier. An aircraft carrier will give us the ability to support any strategic campaign out of out ground force's reach. However, specific designs are capable of serving in the sea-control role, embarking aircraft like VTOL fighters, strike aircraft and anti-submarine warfare helicopters or operating as a safe base for large numbers of STOVL fighters conducting air support for the Land expeditionary unit once it has gone ashore. An aircraft carrier can also be used to sway internal political policy. The very presence of an aircraft carrier of the coast of a nation-state is enough to influence its internal policies. .

The following as ideas which can be considered as possibilities:-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invincible-class_aircraft_carrier
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimitz-class_aircraft_carrier

We would like to here the opinions of the parties on this matter and would be happy to answer any questions they have concerning this proposal.

MessageOOC: In accordance with RP, I think since we're essentially getting our first RP *the right way* (by that, I mean through extensive RP), I think we should start with the Invincible. After a few decades of use, we can progress to the Queen Elizabeth, and then the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers. The best aircraft carriers in the world should be based off the Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_R._Ford-class_aircraft_carrier), which are currently being built to replace the Nimitz-class carriers.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber." - Plato
