Bill: Call for early elections, January 4169
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unity Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: September 4169
Description[?]:
We, the Unity Labour Party, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. This is primarily because we have seen two of our major parties that held seats with in the parliament, become inactive thereby not giving the people the representation they deserve. It further undermines our democracy and therefore I believe we should seek a fresh mandate from the people even though we yet have a budget and tax proposal to pass. |
