MessageThis bill and its predecessor are creating a recipe for a general strike - which will be a disaster for your government and our country.

For instance, the many thousands who will lose their jobs when you nationalise the energy companies may walk out - followed by pretty much anyone who sympathises, which is a heck of a lot of people.

Then what will you do?

Shadow Trade and Industry Secretary

MessageThat is the negligent view of the government, is it? When everyone goes out on general strike - thus crippling this country - cheer them on? The lack of responsibility being shown in public office is breathtaking, we will be seeking legal advice over that statement.

Shadow Trade and Industry Secretary

MessageI personally don't see why this proposal is needed, but many party members are for this bill. So, my party's governing body, the GDB, recently had a vote on whether to support this proposal:

13 - AGAINST
12 - FOR

As a result, the Greens have decided to vote against this decisive issue.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.
