MessageThe Social Democratic Coalition can't support this bill. We consider that the increase of the taxes from poor people's income is too high compared with the one for the highest brackets, and even the bracket of 5000 has decreased from the current income tax system. We are obtaining £1 billion from the 13 mentioned from bracket >400 LPD, while from the highest bracket we are just obtaining 164 million. This is an insult for all workers that have to work day by day to be able to feed their children. People who has more, should contribute more to society.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I'm moving this proposal forward for a full vote before the Imperial Diet. There is internal debate within the party as to whether we should raise or lower income taxes, so we'll see how this proposal is treated before crafting a new tax plan.

I yield.

George Smith's answer when asked for LCP's opinion on the income tax proposal on a radio show

OOC: I figured that would be one way for me to take part in the debate, since I can't actually be a direct part of due to the fact that LCP has no seats in the diet yet
