MessageSara Zanardi, Whip of PSLI:

"we would prefer to call this bill "National Devolution Program - Part 1", we think it could be a more appropriate name for such a devolution program which we believe will strongly affect the structure and division of competences into the Nation and its parts in the coming years. A name which sure will rest well impressed in the memory of the Country.

Thank you"

MessageVincenzo Marini, Leader of DI-U.o.L.:
"Please, don't support this. I know that something devoluted to local authorities is sometimes better than leave all to the central state, but basics things must remain in central government control. Curfews must be banned, local or not. And I think also that sports clubs must not be funded by the state, local or central. You, that want so much to help citizens, want to make the high education different in each region? An example: if in a region there is a liberist government, it may decide to limit public expenses, and it could cut the Education Budget or to fund only tecnical schools or colleges that help the economy ; if in a region there is a socialist government, it may decide to increase the education budget or to fund other programs. In these situation students will be handled in different ways and with different school programs, that will make diversities and will influence our citizens' lifes."

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
