Bill: Constitutional Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: 반동주의자당 (Bandongjuuijadang)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4173

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker

If the other parties insist on shutting down legitimate dialogue about the need for a premiership with hysterical shrieking about "Fascism", then they must at least concede that it is entirely reasonable that the Legislative Council should be able to freely vote on who forms a government? If the likes of Angela Smith are so certain that a unity government against us can be formed, what are they afraid of? Unless of course they think that actually such a unity government would not be formed by a free vote, in which case they are opposing much needed democratic reforms for the sake of petty partisan point scoring. If Angela Smith is really so confident about her agenda she will stop blocking reform and propose her own unity cabinet herself, instead of hiding behind the mute lame duck Steward.

MessageMr.Speaker,

We never told that there will be no free vote,There will definitely be a Free Vote on the cabinet to ensure a Functional Government in this nation. We asked the question previously and i will again, why did''nt your party propose to reestablish the post of Premier when your party held the Steward Post?Hold on till the Steward Proposes a Cabinet,Do not be in Such a Hurry to Form A Government

Thank you,

MessageWhat happened in the past does not matter. We are the successor to the Alternative Right Party, not the Alternative Right Party. You are making a logical fallacy that does nothing to justify your own position in the here and now. Why should the Steward have a monarchial position when it is possible the majority of the Council will not support him. What if a majority of parties vote against the Stewards proposal? Surely we should then have a right to suggest a real, workable cabinet.

MessageMr Speaker,

We want the Steward to retain this power. A Steward with no power over the executive is effectively just a powerless symbolic figurehead, not worth the time and resources to arrange a nation-wide election for.

MessageMr Speaker,

The objections of the barbarian horde front Parliamentary leader are as transparently motivated by hated of our party as they are petty and uninteresting.
