Bill: Foreign Travel Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4177

Description[?]:

Our current foreign policy concerning travel by foreigners to the nation leaves our citizens at risk to foreign threats. Our current policy only requires a brief and ineffective security check. By just confirming the identity of the visitor, we are not ensuring that they are not a threat to our nation.

The Libertarian party proposes that we as a nation reform our boarder security policy. In the proposed bill, stricter security checks will be implemented which will not only identify the visitor, but also ensure that they are not a threat to our citizens and nation. This is not meant to be oppressive or discourage travel to our country but rather to prevent threat such as terrorists from entering the country.

Our first priority should be our citizens, and we must take the required steps to protect our nation.

Christopher Dean
Libertarian Party Leader
