Description[?]:
terugvechten! Given that our surplus has substantially widened following the implementation of the first Fightback Act, a testament to the success of the National Prosperity Agenda being advanced by the Independent Party for Freedom, we now propose a reduction in the Sales Tax. Through this, we aim to encourage consumption, reduce headline inflation and bring a greater quality of life to the people. We estimate that, while this will reduce our surplus (currently 28,620,032,573 VAN, the highest it has been in this party's existence) in the short term, it will contribute to substantial boosts in aggregate demand, and substantial economic growth, such that our future fiscal prudence is confirmed. We do not expect that this policy change will place us in a position of deficit. Fightback, and the National Prosperity Agenda have already proven their success. Let them succeed once more! |

Message | Goed nieuws!!! Our esteemed party economists have completed further calculations on this policy, and have found that it will leave us with a budget surplus of 1,430,737,843 VAN. Considering the lack of any expenditure on debt servicing and interest repayments recorded in the Budget, we conclude that we currently have no outstanding debt, and can afford a smaller surplus, particularly given our history of running substantial budget surpluses. Remember - this is only the short term outcome, and we need to consider the jobs and growth that this program will lead to! |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
