Bill: Eminent Domain Adaptation Act : Revisited

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mouvement des Conservateurs

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2184

Description[?]:

Colleagues,

When it comes the costs of eminent domain victims we believe the the government needs to fully repay the financial damage caused by a case like this. As the current system says 'the court applies a neutral body', victims often have to apply for a lawyer to do their representation, it costs extra for the applicant and it takes allot of time most of the time in the disadvantage of the victim. Cases like this accumulate, gives the court allot of work that can be avoided.

The most logical solution to this is to just pay the costs of the victims private property, of course a just amount of it, determined by a public notary, if to high, the government can always appeal to court.

Regards.

MessageAgreed. I'm glad you are more opposed to eminent domain than other parties have been in the past. Although I'd like to see it banned outright, we'll support this.
