Bill: Cloning Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (보수당)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4182
Description[?]:
Our current law is as followed: 'Research in cloning technologies is legal, but regulated.' Although this is regulated, we feel this law has many concerns. Cloning can be abused and is very hard to make a successful clone. It wastes a lot of our publics money into researching something with an extremely low success rate. Our proposed bill is that the cloning of human beings is illegal. We feel their is better and more deserving laws to invest our governments money in instead of cloning. This needs to be stopped and let our peoples money be put towards good laws! |

Message | Mr Speaker, The law does not refer to any government research, and therefore not to any expenditure that may affect taxpayers. The groundbreaking research referred to by the current law is carried out by our nations glorious private sector, not anything the feeble leftists of the Labour Party would understand. |
Date | 21:20:10, March 16, 2017 CET | From | Conservative Party (보수당) | To | Debating the Cloning Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, The Bandongjuuijadang are missing the point. This bill is not just about money but also to prevent the abuse of cloning and to stop dreadful things that are unimaginable that cloning is capable of doing |
Date | 01:40:48, March 17, 2017 CET | From | 반동주의자당 (Bandongjuuijadang) | To | Debating the Cloning Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, The pathetic Luddism of the Labour Party needs no rebuttal. They have already received it at the ballot box. The nation supports us because we are pro-Science and pro-progress. |
Date | 01:41:52, March 17, 2017 CET | From | 반동주의자당 (Bandongjuuijadang) | To | Debating the Cloning Act |
Message | Regulations are already on the books, the Labour Party simply wants to ban an entire area of research. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
