Description[?]:

TERROR IN TERRAROKKA

Only days after the President announced the date for the Terrarokka referendum on total devolution, there have been three bomb attacks in the business districts of Terrarokka. Two bombs went off inside the lobby of the Republican Party Terrarokka State Office around 3 PM. A third bomb then went off in a letter box near a BAITI regional building around 3.10PM.

Around 33 people are thought to be dead and another 107 injured at the two attacks in the Republican Party offices, with around 10 people dead and 2 injured at the BAITI letterbox bomb. Amongst the dead are 2 Republican Congresspeople for Terrarokka- Xavier Munches and Leon Bee.

It is thought the attacks were committed by terrorists, and BAITI and other government agencies are investigating immediately. Terrarokkans have been urged to stay alert and to stay indoors by the President.

MessageThis is an outrageous act that I am sure all parties will condemn. I must say that I am personally hurt to have heard of the loss of two fellow colleagues and friends.

I truly believe that the current political difficulties are giving extremists the confidence to show their views in the most violent way. But my greatest fear is that terrorists are just using the Devolution Referendum as an excuse for their evil means; perhaps it wasn't even to do with the vote. After all, it's obvious that they were aiming at the Government, or more specifically the President: it was Republicans attacked and BAITI hit. However, it's best not to speculate, and to let the investigation complete it's findings.

Might I ask the Home Secretary what security has been arranged for Terrarokka, but also on voting day itself next year? And may I also ask whether security has been increased for Government officials, and the President himself?

MessageMembers of Congress,

As new Home Secretary I will be announcing measures to clamp down on these atrocities and tighten security up to and including election day - nothing will stand in the way of democracy. We agree that this was a targetted attack on the government by radical left wing terrorists who want separation at all costs. It is no coincidence that these attacks came shortly after the President announced his party was voting NO to devolution.

We ask all parties to support the measures we put into place.

MessageThe National Party finds these attacks absolutely disgusting and we would like to ask the Home Secretary how these barbaric political terrorists will be dealt with when they are found?

MessageMadame Wiley,

I am looking at reintroducing the death penalty for such crimes. The bill is, however, experiencing resistance in Congress. If this does not pass I will look at bringing in much tougher sentencing laws.
