Bill: Weapon freedom Act, 4183
Details
Submitted by[?]: Aurora Libertatis
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4184
Description[?]:
Senators, While our current legislation recognizes most citizens for the right to own firearms, they hypocritically do not allow for people to organize themselves around activities with their firearms, and they infringe on the right to property by suggesting that the government should allow who a private arms manufacturer should make business with. Militias such as the Crimson Crusade and the Claws And Paws Organization have defended this country and its freedom in the past, and will do so again. The right to bear arms, the right to own property and the right to organize - those are all basic rights in a liberal democracy. Authoritarians have limited these freedoms in the past, but we are determined to restore them. Livius Spurius Trebellius AL Internal Affairs Spokesperson Senator from Septentia (Dayāśīltā) |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
