| President Stephen Trudeau of the Republican Party and Vice President Darius Darvos have been assassinated in Terrarokka. Trudeau and Darvos were walking from their 'No Thanks!' campaign rally to a lunch near the Republican Regional HQ when an individual walked out of a builidng and opened fire on the President and his Vice. A third individual was injured, an aide to the President, however nobody else is thought to have been injured or killed. Witnesses said that 4 shots were fired from an enhanced pistol. As BAITI were at the scene protecting the President, the attacker was arrested after dropping his gun. The attacker said in his statement to the police and BAITI: "I hate the right. I just want anarchy, communism." It is thought the attacker acted alone, and background checks found he had no relation to any political party or terror group. A national week of mourning will begin tomorrow, and temporarily the role of President will be with Xi Xiang, the education and culture secretary. |

| Message | We welcome Acting President Xi Xiang's statement to suspend the dissolution of the Republican Party and pledge our full support in helping to clear up this mess and in pushing through the necessary legislation to restore law and order. However, we also completely condone the Moderate Party's statement that this was orchestrated by the "right parties". Bear in mind that the late Darius Darvos was a great supporter of the Moderate Party and their right-leaning tendencies, particularly in regards to foreign policy.
