Status[?]: defeated

Voting deadline: February 4185
Description[?]:
Concerning our recent bill, Act of Technological Advancements, we would like to propose a new bill to further increase are advancements into the not so distant future. -------------------------------------- Proposal 1: The research and development of pharmaceutical drugs. We believe a change is needed to this law from the already existing, "The government neither subsidizes research and development of drugs nor regulates their prices", to "The government does not subsidize research and development of prescription drugs but regulates their prices." This change will regulate the prices so the nation's pharmacies and hospitals will have a standard price allow the people of this nation to "know" the price of the drugs they need to buy. Proposal 2: The use of animals in medical research. The change will be "Animal research projects must apply for a license and submit to regulation." This change will stop the unnecessary animal cruelty currently in place from laissez faire policy our country has enacted. |
