Bill: Anti-Monarchist Cabinet Proposal of April 4185

Details

Submitted by[?]: ☭ Dundorfische Kommunistische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4185

Description[?]:

Once again, our republic is under the threat from a monarchy.

We therefore propose to work with the moderate right to put a stop to this, preventing the pro-Thaller Dynasty Sozial Konservative Union from fulfilling their undemocratic dreams. We have to admit that we have at times been at odds, but for the greater good of the Republic, we request your help.

We will not seek to pursue the establishment of the DDR under this coalition. Instead of that, we have come up with an alternative agenda;

Under this proposed coalition, our common goal will be to restore Dundorf to its former greatness, doing so by transforming the state into a centralized Republik, doing away with the currently federalized state. Our foreign policy is open to discussion, but we propose to keep continuing our path of promoting regional stability.

Our great nation has a long and rich history. But, was all of this achieved under a monarch?
By all means, no. Republicanism in Dundorf is as old as the nation itself.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.

Random quote: "One day our descendants will think it incredible that we paid so much attention to things like the amount of melanin in our skin or the shape of our eyes or our gender instead of the unique identities of each of us as complex human beings." - Franklin Thomas
