| Democratic Reform Package of Free Dranland (DRP-Laws) Dear citizens of our nation, Dear political colleagues, Our nation has known dark times in recent years. Extremist nationalism has eroded our democratic principles. It has tried to destroy our religious, cultural and linguistic pluralism. Race and religion have become political tools to create strife and suppress minorities. This is our time. This is the time to return to democracy and freedom. We ask every political party and movement of Free Dranland to support us. We owe it to our people! We now speak directly to the Republicans: you have joined forces in recent years with the extremists. You have voted for their racist agenda. This is your chance to do some good for our citizens. Your party owes it to the people of Free Dranland. We propose the following legislation changes: 1. Government policy concerning granting citizenship. Curent: Citizenship is granted based on race/religion/gender Proposed: Citizenship is granted to all nationals. 2. Legality of multiple citizenship. Current: Multiple citizenship is not allowed, and considered a criminal offense. Proposed: Multiple citizenship is allowed, but must be registered. 3. Government policy concerning granting nationality (national of this state without implication of having citizenship rights). Current: Only those born to nationals become nationals. Proposed: Anyone receives nationality but immigrants must pass a test to gain nationality. 4. Racial and religious registration of nationals. Current: All nationals are required to register their race and religion. Proposed: The government does not require nationals to register their race or religion. |
