MessageMr Speaker,

This proposal is impossibly vague. What measurement of speed is being taken here exactly? Is it mph, if so these speeds are generally too fast. Different speeds at different times of day is a move our party sees as unnecessary, in addition isn't it more sensible for local governments to set their own speed limits instead?

(OOC: pretty good for RP, just think there should be a more thorough proposal before putting it into law)

MessageI do not regał our country using imperial system. It has always been metric system. Higher Speed limits at night are reasonable and make the traffic more efficent.

MessageBoth Kirlawa and Alioria use metric system so we find reminding that we use metric system as well unecessary.

MessageAnd to conplete my answer, KU find it unecessary and irrational to transfer the jurisdiction over the Speed limit Policy to the local governments. Uniform Speed limit policy increses the safety of travel and eliminates the confusion caused by the variety of Speed limits.

MessageMr Speaker,

Surely different locations have different speed needs however.

(OOC: My apologies, in the UK we use mph, I'm not used to metric measurements on the road)

MessageMr. Cranz,

But this is the unifom speed limit and can be regulated by the local governments. Different locations? Of course they do, you have to travel at maximum speed of 30 kph in the vicinity of a school or a hospital. You don't seem to understand my point. In a hypothetical situation, you're driving a car on the A1 highwa and in Kordusia you are allowed to travel at 160 kph and once you cross Kordusian-Largonian border you are required to slow down to 110 kph and it can be quite conusing not only on the motorway. This regultion prevents from thak kind of situation.

Federal Chancellor.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
