Message | We cannot tolerate these slanderous attacks against us. We ask the RACP to withdraw their statements. With regard to the substance of this legislation, we find it ironic that Communists should seek to accuse us of restricting freedom of expression! This bill would actually INCREASE freedom of expression because citizens would be able to act as they please without feeling afraid of being blown up by Commie terrorist scum. Message | How is banning communism improving freedom of speech as you would be banning a huge chunk of the population from speaking out and you comments are slanderous you are saying that we are terrorists while we are just politicians and activists and I think what you mean by speaking out basically is a small group of fascists running round saying homophobic fascist and anti democratic things OOC I would love to take part in a court case but who would be suing who? |

Message | Members of Congress, Our party does not agree with this proposal. While our party has been opposed to communism as an ideology throughout our existence, this is a huge step too far. It eats into the very essence of freedom of speech that this republic was founded on and sets a dangerous precedent for banning other political ideologies Peaceful political discourse is fine in our opinion, it is only when it turns into hate speech or spills over into violence that we must act - and we already have laws in place to deal with such things.
