Bill: Nominating a new Ambassador to the Security Council
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4189
Description[?]:
Members of Congress, It now looks likely will be re-elected to the Security Council of the World Congress for the third successive term - again in the Seat E position. We must now nominate our Ambassador to the Security Council for the next, approximately, 15 year sitting (ooc one month). Gareth Hernandez has served this country well but with the dissolution of the Republican Party in just over a year's time, we must look to the future. I therefore nominate Patricia Grayson - the former foreign secretary - as the next ambassador to that organisation. Mrs Grayson was a former leader of the Patriotic Party but ousted when Darius Darvos and his nationalists took control for a short period. She is a moderate, an experienced international operator and diplomat as well as someone who will fight our corner and stand up for the rights of other nations too. I hope congress can endorse her as the new ambassador, if so her appointment will take effect in 4190 when Mr Hernandez steps down. Thank you President William F. Mace |
