| Message | The reason we say "possibility" is that there is a range of time. The development of the perception of pain in humans ranges from the end of the second trimester to the beginning of the third. Based on different studies, it develops between 24 and 30 weeks. This means it might develop in the third trimester, but it also might develop in the second, which would be earlier than the current law accounts for. |
