| Lorenzo Verhoeven, President of the Republic "Hon. MPs, The threat of terrorism which our nation are currently faceing revealing itself to be more and more dangerous and with deep connections with internal subversive hidden mouvements. The Measures already take by the Government and approved by the Parliament are finally expressing their full potential and are showing their usefulness. But, arise some weeks ago the problems about the reaction times of parliament in addressing the threats, take and approve the necessary decisions and measures. Once again I ask to the Government and Parliament of the Republic to show that they are ready to proceed to take all the necessary measures to protect our people. I call upon all Deputies and Senators to approve the passage of this Law to establish formally the State of Emergency all over the Nation and to grant to the President of the Republic the powers necessary to tackle the challenges facing our homeland.. 2 years after the approval of this Resolution, the State of Emergency and all other emergency powers will be reppealed but the law are subject to renewal by the Parliament. (OOC: In particular this act will allow to the President to issue Emergency Presidential Decrees which will enforce immediatly the provisions of the decrees while the decrees' bill could be voted later within six months, on pain of revocation of the decrees and decadency of the provisions of law. First of all PAI and NS should oppose to it, but then this night I will prepare the articles about the murders of the leader of NS, the kidnaping of the leader of PAI and also the assassination failed attempt of the leader of PPC - already I had the green light by the three parties. The two leftist parties in this way will be convinced to vote in favor of the State of Emergency, while PPC will take even more nationalist and militarist positions. The first two will be accused by the terrorist to have been useless to defend the people and the workers and that they are judged as traitors of the cause of the workers, accomplices of the capitalistic forces. PPC will attacked for its strong capitalist ideology and its continues attempt to decrease the workers' rights) |

We still can not believe the situation. The shock on our members was hard. The loss of Anna di Franco and her bodyguards is something that shook us all. I, Lorenzo Rosu, will be guiding our party through this difficult time. Our last whip, Mohamed Abdellaoui, chose to resign as well, and we can not blame his choice. He was the closest person to Anna. In his position will now be Nedir di Bongiovanni. As for the current situation, we will be dissociating with A.P.I. and joining our colleagues from PAI in creating the Fronte Democratico. We will change the vote on this bill as well, seeing it necessary. We will not stop to watch over our citizens but we can not let this pass as well.
