Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards evangelism and religious advertising.
Old value:: Religious organizations are not permitted to actively promote themselves or advertise, however evangelism is permitted by individuals.
Current: Religions are required to obtain government approval before promoting themselves or advertising in any manner.
Proposed: Religions are permitted to freely promote and advertise themselves.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change The governments stance on religious schools.
Old value:: Religious schools are allowed, but are strictly regulated. Only recognised religions may set up religious schools.

Old value:: The salaries and pensions of ministers of religion shall be borne by the state and regulated by the law.

Message | Mr Speaker, Le Parti Libertaire understands the individual's right to choose regarding their choice whether they should follow a religion or not. However, we believe that the people do not get a fair selection of facts, with legislation appearing to favour secularism. In our opinion, government should have nothing to do with religion, and this bill addresses that. Monsieur W. Chauveau |
