Bill: National Anthem in Schooling
Details
Submitted by[?]: Baltusian International Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 4197
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, We believe that having children listen to the national anthem every morning is unnecessary, and instead rather special occasions allows for this sense of pride for being Baltusian. Additionally, we mustn't 'require' children to pay respect. I feel that this time could be spent better and we should stop infringing this 'requirement' on children. Thank you. Message | Madame Speaker, Members of Congress, The national anthem takes barely 30 seconds to sing - I know: I belted it out this morning before breakfast. So it hardly eats into a child's day and certainly doesn't stopping them learning and playing as the communists would have you believe. But what it does do is instil pride and respect in young hearts - a pride and patriotism that will stay with them until their dying days. What is wrong with that, I ask? God Bless Baltusia!
