| In response to threats from other nations, it's imperative that Baltusia has a well funded military, as well as a Science and Technology Budged that can grant both the armed forces and the public the very latest in research and innovation. This money will be re-allocated from Food and Agriculture, where recent steadiness, plus the country's substantially lessened reliance on this sector, has meant it is in less need of funding. By continuing the progressive reduction of Corporation Tax, we are encouraging businesses and enterprise in our nation, which in turn helps the growth of our economy. An increase of the Luxury Goods Tax means the richest are paying their fair share to society when they self-indulge, without restricting investment which is what an increase in the income tax would do. This budget ensures the security of our great nation and those living inside it, whilst also allowing the economy to grow so everyone is able to be richer and more secure in their lives.
