This bill will allow for conscientious objector to be exempt from military service, while requiring those who do not conscientiously object to serve a full year in the military after completion of education so that they be prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary to survive any invasion or to participate in wartime combat should a draft ever be necessary. However, should the conscientiously object, they may forgo this requirement, of course, for a year of civilian National Service, in which they may work in areas such as soil conservation, forestry, fire fighting or agriculture, to better their nation and serve the people while remaining neutral to any possible conflict that may arise. |
