These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 11:50:02, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Transitional Programme of the DSPR 4199 |
Message | The DSPR believes the time is now right to move against the financial elites that control the wealth of this country, and put more power in the hands of ordinary citizens, both directly and through their elected government. If we fail to act now, the risk of another attempted coup by these elites will remain. The DSPR presents this programme, an initial step toward the building of social democracy in Rutania. |
Date | 15:03:15, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Rutania Party | To | Debating the Transitional Programme of the DSPR 4199 |
Message | Adam King: "That's a lie if I ever head one. This is a clear grab of power by the government from the people. There is state intervention and then there's this, the DSPR is trying to destroy a large chunk of the private sector as to force people to rely on the sraps of whatever is thrown at them." |
Date | 17:01:56, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Whig Party | To | Debating the Transitional Programme of the DSPR 4199 |
Message | This Transitional Programme seems a lot like a Communist 4 year plan if you ask me. The proposals in this bill go entirely to far! Seizing the stock market, a clear attempt at eliminating private choices in the Health marketplace, adopting a policy to assault all so called 'monopolies' and empowering the Unions on a level not seen in over 30 years. The only part of this Proposal that makes any logical sense is the raising of the corporate tax. I am glad that the government wants to end the current budget shortfall even if I disagree with where they want to get the funds. If these policies are adopted there wont be very many successful corporations to tax pretty soon. -Frmr. President and Party Chairman Elmer Clark |
