Description[?]:
We seek to form a government to preserve monarchy. The NL and the TE are now the only monarchist parties and I think a KP NL coalition is unbearable. They don't even agree on one government form. Peter Jogel TE-Chairman |

Message | Its funny that they say a coalition is "unbearable" after they have pleaded to us that a coalition between the both of us is the only credible option. They should not lie to the Neue Liberales, they are an honourable party which we have on numerous occasions supported. We urge the NL to vote for an alternative to fascism and vote in favour of progressive alliance of two moderate parties, with the national interest at heart. Ernst Kolbeck (& sconstantine07) KP Leader |
Date | 17:43:20, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Große Reformpartei - Sozialdemokraten | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | We considered a coalition with the KP because it was unclear if they support the monarchy or not. Now that we know that we can exclude that option. For the sake of stability and for the sake of our nation the NL should support this government. Peter Jogel TE-Chairman OOC: And you can really leave out your name, because this is no OOC debate and there is no reason to make it one? Understood? |
Date | 17:57:02, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Konservative Unionistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | We have made it clear, we support a fair monarchy, independent of politics; not favouring one party and no party speaking on behalf on the monarchy as parties previously have done. OOC: We included our name to show it came from both our party leader and a plea to the Neue Liberale player, from me, sconstantine87. I hope I have made this understandable and clear. |
Date | 18:02:44, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Große Reformpartei - Sozialdemokraten | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | Our monarchy is pretty independent since Jens II took the throne. Do you even remember the times before Jens II ? Peter Jogel TE Chairman OOC: Yes I understood that but there is no need to ask a player to support you. This is not the place to do so. Either you give IC arguments or you don't say anything. Using the sympathy between two players to force his party into a coaltion is absolute failrp and I am sure there is a rule that could be applied against it. |
Date | 18:12:17, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Konservative Unionistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | We are simply stating our democratic will and opinion. |
Date | 20:16:18, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | It is clear that the Kaiser is not independent. For one, the TEN are effectively just a royalist party. But more importantly, I'm sure we all remember the Kaiser's threat to DBV? Monarchy breeds tyranny. It is only reasonable that we remove their power in this country, if not totally abolishing them. Christopher Bernstein Leader of the Volkskommunistische Partei |
Date | 20:17:02, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | OOC: Also, KP there is no need to add your username, but there is also no need to argue over it, you guys need to chill |
Date | 20:19:32, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Große Reformpartei - Sozialdemokraten | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | The Kaiser "threatening" the DBV. The DBV encouraged to murder the Kaiser and all Thallers. He just took measures to defend his life and the lives of his family members. Also the TE is in constant conflict with Jens II. He is far more liberal than his party, but since he doesn't involve into politics that is often not realised. Peter Jogel TE Chairman |
Date | 22:23:17, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Konservative Unionistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | The TEN are right on this occasion. The monarchy was right to make known its opposition to the DBVs |
Date | 22:50:29, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | Taking action to defend oneself and actually declaring opposition to a political party are two different things. By taking this action, the Kaiser becomes impartial. Now, perhaps in this case the Kaiser was right. But what happens when a monarch makes their political views open? A monarchy encourages tyranny. History has proven this. It is only a matter of time. However the tyranny of the aristocracy they stand for dwarfs this issue completely, and this is the real reason we oppose the monarchy. Jeremias Schildknecht Deputy Leader of the Volkskommunistische Partei |

Message | *The Kaiser becomes less than impartial. |
Date | 22:57:14, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Große Reformpartei - Sozialdemokraten | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | Herr Schildknecht I think this is enough. You are only spectator in the Reichstag and you have made your standpoint clear. The same thing for the TE. We won't discuss what monarchy may lead to and if it encourages tyranny or not. This does not lead anywhere. This is about a potential coalition. Titus Peck Vorsitzender des Hauses (Speaker of the House) |
Date | 11:51:22, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Liberaldemokraten | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | We thank the TEN for the opportunity to enter a government with them; with our great support for our Kaiser. However, politically us and the KP are more alike and therefore we decided to take the Head of Government and work with the KP. However, a decline in this proposal isn't a rejection of the TEN. In fact, in some bills such as monarchy, military and some economic bills - we would work with the TEN. Beatrix Lerche Reichstanzlerin (OOC: I have been addressed a few times as Reichstanzlerin, is that the proper format for a female reichskanzler?) |
Date | 12:15:27, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of November 4199 Monarchist Government |
Message | We appreciate the opportunity to speak, Herr Votsitzender. On this occaision, we will withdraw, however we believe our argument still stands and shall continue to debate this elsewhere in future. Thank you. Jeremias Schildknecht Deputy Leader of the Volkskommunistische Partei (People's Communist Party) |
