Bill: National Curriculum Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriots Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4204
Description[?]:
Currently Schools in our great nation have no curriculum to follow and are left to their own devices. This may lead to different outcomes in terms of education. We propose a non-binding curriculum to guide some of the weaker establishments towards the correct goals. While this is state intervention which is something we normally oppose, we believe it is for the betterment of our nation, and our students. |

Message | In order for Luthori to unite as a nation under one culture, one language and one common goal, it is important that the state carefully develops and nurtures the education of our children. Otherwise, as you correctly point out, very different outcomes in education shall be achieved, and therefore it is important that the state does not simply pay no heed and watch as our future slips away and our values are slowly eroded over the course of a generation. As such, we are in full support of this bill. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is crucial that schools be allowed to mould their curriculum around the needs, interests and skills of their pupils. This legislation will provide them with the power to do so and will go some way towards raising schools standards and pupil satisfaction. I yield. - Karen Murwira-Horton MP, Shadow Education and Culture Secretary |
