| Kalil Al Mahdi, Minister of Finance: "This is the budget reform of the Government to conclude the spending review related to the reform of the National Welfare but also with this budget the Government wants to allocate funds to the Ministries of Infrastructure, Finance and Indrustry to fund the following projects and incentives which will be together as "RINASCITA ISTALIANA" ("ISTALIAN RENAISSANCE"): - National Funds for tax cuts and deductions for new business for the first 5 years of activity with any commitment to the state in case of bankruptcy. - National Funds for total tax exemption for start-up and new business related to the high-tech and new technologies secture, a total tax exemption for the first 3 years and tax cuts and deductions for other 3 years. - The financing of the project to complete the extension of the high-speed rail all over the national territory. Given the provision of the Agreement on the Trans-Majatran Corridors already in the last 20 years private investments and some government involvement several lines was already completed, with this investment the Government will conclude this project. - The financing of the Expansion of the Port of Triesta, which will boost the annual traffic through the Port of Triesta. The two project will take rispectively almost 10 and 6 years of work to be completed. Given the large structural reforms carried on by the Government, the works will be conducted contracting with the privates so to assure works for many companies and to entire economic sectors related, which will assure jobs for our workers which will be able to have an income with which increase the demand. |
