Bill: Call for early elections, April 4209
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hosian Civic Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: December 4209
Description[?]:
This is the best way to solve this impasse. One of the two main blocs will likely win overall power and can form a government. Of course this is a gamble for all parties but that is what politics is all about. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | NO! Although I see your point, but continues change of leadership will bring nothing but instability. Continuity brings prosperity. I urge the others to reject the bill for the sake of the decency of our modern history. |

Message | But leadership is going to change rapidly anyway. This bill is being proposed in the hopes that one of the blocs will win big and that way stability can resume. |

Message | That is not a valid argument for an early election. Its questioning the country's democracy. |

Message | OOC: Why did Theresa May call an early election? Because her head is screwed on the right way and she realises that we need to have a 'strong and stable' government before negotiating Brexit. Its a similar situation here. |
Date | 19:17:55, May 11, 2017 CET | From | Conservative Gaduridos | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 4209 |
Message | OOC: The difference is that Theresa became the Prime Minister not because she won the election, but is selected to replace David Cameron. In our situation, we are already calling for early elections despite having elections just last in-game year. |
Date | 13:28:57, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Go Gaduridos! [PAG] | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 4209 |
Message | I agree, we can't just have elections whenever we want different results. |
