MessageThe Progressive Liberal Party opposed all of the previous government's initiatives to fix the economy. How is this cabinet going to run the country in a stable manner? Is the DA going to compromise on many key issues with the PLP, possibly breaking a lot of their promises? That would be further proof of the disconnect between the government and the ordinary people. I hope this cabinet proposal does not pass.

MessageSince this proposal is not based on proper inter-partisan negotiations, thus without the existence of proper terms for a possible alliance, the Progressive Liberal Party's senators have voted against the Cabinet proposal of September 4209.

Margaret Gedrych, First Vice-President of PLP:
"Considering the fact that our parties disagree on many key issues, joining the government would mean disappointing the electorate the chose us to represent their core values and ideas. The Progressive Liberal Party will remain in opposition for now, so we invite the Senate to reject the proposal."
