Bill: Tax Act of 4209
Details
Submitted by[?]: Volkspartei für Freiheit und Demokratie
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4210
Description[?]:
To create economic growth and opportunity, we must put money back into the hands of the people who buy goods and create jobs. Private individuals and businesses use money more efficiently than governments do. People with their own money at risk spend or invest it carefully. You don’t find many 600 DAR hammers or insolvent retirement programs in the private sector. Money will do more good for more people in private hands than in state hands. |

Message | The KP, when aligned with the NL, put forward a free and fair tax proposal, which was accepted. But this is unacceptable, the government wishes to turn us into an offshore tax haven. [Ah, from Opposition Benches] Konstantin Buesing KP Chairman |

Message | Your party always has pretty interesting stances on financial issues. Sometimes it is bad for our nation sometimes it is good. You just twist your opinion however it suits your party to gather votes. You are scum. Scum of democracy! Xavier Fasces Bundeskanzler |
Date | 17:36:14, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | The nation has a huge defecit. The VFD propose massive cuts. Then they propose large tax cuts for the ultra-rich. I think it's clear what's happening here. Volker Wittke VP Leader |
Date | 18:53:24, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Volkspartei für Freiheit und Demokratie | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | Herr Wittke, we have indeed proposed tax cuts for those who provide and deliver the jobs, those who are the backbone of our economy. We should encourage them to grow further and increase market competition, instead of being punished under socialists tax brackets. Rudolf Stranz Chairperson VFD |
Date | 20:23:29, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | Funny, because it seems to me the government provides those jobs? Perhaps this wouldn't be the case if your anarchistic capitalism were skilled enough to do anything. If you could be trusted with running -- well, an office, never mind a country. Truly, you're a disappointing opposition! You're letting down your voters, Stranz. Volker Wittke VP Leader |
Date | 21:40:04, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Liberaldemokraten | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | This isn't fair or just - we understand the need for cuts. But this helps the rich and kills the poor. Denis Herkenhoff Finance Minister |
Date | 22:23:55, May 12, 2017 CET | From | Volkskommunistische Partei | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | Exactly, Herr Herkenhoff. But the VFD want only to kill the poor. Everything they have is geared towards that goal, it's malevolent and evil. And yet you enter government with them. Volker Wittke VP Leader |
Date | 07:47:10, May 13, 2017 CET | From | Popular Revolutionary Front | To | Debating the Tax Act of 4209 |
Message | The PRF oppose any budgets being proposed by this absurd government. In fact, what kind of coalition is this anyway? This pathetic coalition can't even pass a budget, which only proves that they have lost the confidence of this house and this country. Resign before you embarrass yourselves any further. Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
