Message | Paula Brahms, Prime Minister: Not content with their attempts to ruin education, the AIP now propose to weaken the provision of health services in Aloria. 7 years ago, the AIP led by Mr Reece, voted in favour of provisions that extended pro-choice legislation and made abortion funding available for all Alorians. They also voted in favour of assumed consent for organ donation. All this, on the basis that these laws would improve health outcomes for our people. 7 years later we have a new version of Mr Reece, now a 'populist' - or so he says. These proposals before us contradict a message you yourself gave to our people 7 years ago. For reasons that remain unclear, you now wish to wind back pro-choice funding. You also seek to further damage the wallets of our middle class by increasing the costs of their pharmaceutical drugs. This attack on the middle class cannot and will not stand. You first vote against tax cuts for the middle class and low income earners, you then propose to remove educational funding for the middle class, and now you want to increase the costs of their medicine? You don't stand for the people Mr Reece and nor do your party. You stand on them. You will climb all over them to get your way and return to the Presidency. We say good luck - because the way you've been treating the people of this nation lately you will need every piece of luck you can get. |
