Description[?]:
Members of Congress This is a budget that keeps our country on a path of stability. The increased spending on defence is necessary in a world where danger is growing - we've seen this with Aldegar's repeated threats. But it's not just the obvious danger, it's those lurking in the shadows, and those that are still to come, that must be watched. The increase of spending allows us to combat those who wish to harm us. With the passing of the 'Partial Public Transportation Subsidisation Act 4209', a large proportion of money has been saved by the Transport Department. However, money is still needed for important projects such as improving transport links, which in turn reduces the carbon footprint because of less private transport being needed. And many financial experts have expressed their belief that tourism has the potential to grow much faster, which would be beneficial to the economy as a whole. As a result, by increasing both the Culture and Tourism Budgets, combined with continued investment in infrastructure, we are able to build a drive for visitors to come to Baltusia, and continue building our economy. None of this would be possible were it not for the policies of recent administrations. Without them, we wouldn't have the current surplus we have, which grants us significant breathing room, and allows us to continue improving this country. Harriett Miller Finance Secretary |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
