Bill: Immigration Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Labour, New Mordusia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4212

Description[?]:

The current system of active searches is draconian and damaging to community relations. Further, the fear of detection and deportation deters illegal workers from openly seeking medical assistance, creating a risk to public health, and from coming forward if they are witness to a crime or have information which will help to prevent a crime from occurring, making our streets less safe.

We propose a new system which would ameliorate these problems and reduce the exploitation of vulnerable migrants, whilst at the same time reassuring the public that immigration is still monitored.
