Message | Mr Speaker, We understand that the Labour Party is desparate to enter Parliament once again, but we just had an early election six months ago. We do not want to discourage voters from voting, further lowering the turnout rate. A 60%+ turnout is disappointing for a nation which has had high turnout for many years. High turnout means a nation that is well informed and cares about the direction we are going in, a low turnout means that the people are fed up with the lack of choices and fed up with early elections. We will therefore vote No on this. Message | Mr Speaker, We can not hold elections just because another party wishes to gain power. We are here to represent the people of Beluzia and in their interest we will vote no because another election will only divide our nation just because a power hungry party wants seats in this house. Message | Mr Speaker, We know that the BDP is the newest and the largest political movement in Parliament, but I think they should follow parliamentary etiquette and not call fellow congressional factions by one-sided names. The Labour Party is not a power hungry party, we have worked with them for many years and they also represent the interests of the people of Beluzia, not the interests of the oligarchy. They want to enter Parliament, but we should not put out incorrect assumptions that they want power. We ask our Honourable friend to withdraw her comments. Message | Mr Speaker, I will not withdraw my comment. I was merely pointing out the fact that this party wishes for early elections when we already have a stable government in our nation. I was also pointing out how it is selfish of them to want an election just because they do not hold any seats as it stands. I will however apologise if my remarks offended. Thank you.
