Message | Actually no it's not. This does not call for collective ownership. From a historical point of view land redistribution was a major factor in the change from feudal to capitalist systems. Anyway, tell us why you don't support it rather than what you think it's called. |

Message | Either a person owns his land or he doesn't. You can't have it both ways. If he owns his land, he should be able to use it as he sees fit. Allowing the State to step in and redistribute the land obviously is taking his ownership of that land away from him. You can nitpick if you like, but this is an attack on private property. And private property is core value of our entire economy! We are also opposed to the State subsidy of agriculture. |

Message | This bill represents a model of agricultural development which can achieve great things for the Luthori people, it will tacle the vastly unequal ownership of land in the country, provide the rural poor with the means to provide for themselves without reliance on the state and will encourage the production of food using techniques which will enhance and protect our environment. If an abstract notion of 'property rights' is more important to you than the ability of Luthori people to feed themselves then I can only shake my head in sadness. |
