Bill: Flat and Fair Revenue Act of June 4218 (FFRA)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whig Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4219

Description[?]:

The Ministry of Finance proposes to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Commonwealth of Rutania. We offer a tax plan that will increase revenue modestly from current levels while offering a tax cut to the highest brackets with the hopes of spurring private investment in the nation. The proposed tax bracket reorganization offers a fair and simple tax system for all Rutanians.

The Ministry present this plan to modestly raise revenue to achieve a surplus of 5 billion rutas annually in anticipation of the successful negotiation of a High Speed Rail corridor, and to provide funding for the planning phase of a moderated version of the 'Sustainable Cities Program" and the spending that would accompany them.
