| Message | 750 is a ridiculous and unrealistically big parliament for any country. This reduction will not only save expenses, but the single-member districts will bring voters closer to their MPs -- while preserving proportionality through the national lists. Further, 750 seats could hypothetically result in a tie of 375-375. With a reduction to 535 seats, a tie will no longer be possible. |
