Bill: Ownership of Guns Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (보수당)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4223

Description[?]:

Dear colleagues
Over the past 15 years dranland has experienced two barbaric terroir attacks. Both of which have involved guns

In order to cut this down, we propose guns can be owned by the public under very strict conditions. We feel this is the only other way the government can help to decrease the chances of terroism

We need to keep all cultures in society safe and this is the final way to do so!

MessageMr, Speaker,

I don't remember any terror attacks in the last 15 years...this seems like something Labour has invented to pass anti-freedom legislation.

MessageDear Labour,

Even so, two shootings in 15 years really isn't particularly high..it is bad it happened and we offer our condolences to the famiies involved. Still we believe that this bill is unnecessary and doesn't address the issue(after all the girl could've as easily used a sword or a bow and arrow). We also disagree that this qualifies as terrorism per se as terrorism is connected with organizations for political gain-the girl in question doesn't seem to have been operating for a political motive. Also since one of the incidents occurred under a Labour president, maybe it was your party's policies that were at fault as you have perpetually tried to ban child labour in the past. If the kids are at work full-time they don't have the energy or time to go murdering. I can happily say that no such incidents occurred under my watch. *Smug smile*

MessageDear ncp
Terrorism is not always linked to a group or political reasons. The girl could have done it for any reason. Under our government some of our member personally paid for some of the people funerals who were involved. May I remind you the other one happened under an ncp president

Max Gerster
Retired labour member and former President
