| Conscript Fathers and Mothers! With all due respect to followers of the Religio, while it may be a Selucian religion, it can hardly be said that Selucia is a pagan nation. We therefore propose the disestablishment of Religio Seluciana, with an eye to opening consultations on whether it should be replaced with Aurorian Patriarchalism or whether we should (fully in accordance with our faith) simply not have any established religion whatsoever. Perhaps without a state religion, the debate on secularism will become less poisonous and members on all sides of this Curia will become more receptive to seeing the freedom of religion declared sacrosanct.
