Message | Harun Al-Sahel, Whip of LP: "Collegues, we should remember that we are talking about the administration of the most little subdivision of the Nation and the one which is closest to the citizens. In restricted electoral areas, with a Central Government which regulate most part of the national policies, a powerfull collective body is not necessary: it shall not work to create new laws or decide on national matters which affect all the nation. The local authority should manage the local matters and respond as fast as possible to the needs of the territories. We believe that a monocratic institution directly elected by the citizens is better to manage similar matter than a collective body which could spend too much time to find a compromise on very basic matters (maybe just for political interests). So LP will vote against this proposal. Thank you" |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
