The following changes to the fuctioning of the military will be applied.

The sovereign (or Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, if the sovereign is not the CiC himself/herself) only directly appoints military officers, taking positions of high command (all types of generals as well as colonels). Majors, Staff-Captains and Podporuchiks are appointed by the Colonel if the regiment the unit is in. Lieutenant-Colonels, Captains, Poruchiks, Praporshiks and Senior Unter-Officers, as assistant commanders are appointed by commanders of their corresponding unit and approved by the Colonel (in te case of the Lieutenant-Colonel, no such approval is needed, as the Lieutenant-Colonel is the Colonel's assistant). Feldfebels and Efreitors are elected by the combatants of their units and need approval by the Colonel. Junior Unter-Officers are appointed by the Fedfebels to be their assistant and require no approval.

MessageUnfortunately, the TIP cannot support this bill. The C-in-C should not mark off on every officer, that is too top heavy and inefficient.

MessageDid not read the caption. Therefore, we cannot support the election of NCOs as that cannot possibly make for efficient or effective battlefield command. Especially not for the Navy (which the TIP believes should be the dominant military arm).
