| INTRODUCTION This act shall place reforms on the national fire fighting, paramedic, and other emergency services units. ARTICLE I Firefighting, paramedic, and other emergency services under the auspices of the Nasjonal Brannsvenet (National Fire Department), which exists under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, shall be devolved to municipal and other divisional fore services and administration within the Fylkes. Individual Fylkes shall retain the right to maintain a regional Fire Department, or Fylkesbrannveneset (Fylke Fire Department) ARTICLE II The Nasjonal Brannveneset (National Fire Department) shall be changed into a Directorate-General position, and shall cease activity as a national agency. |
