MessageWe are perplexed by the decision of the Républicains Libéraux to vote against this bill. We consider that any truly liberal party would support this move to give those in mixed-sex relationships the same rights as those in single-race relationships.

MessageNot having a policy on these issues does not take away rights from an individual. We believe the rights of man are inherently given at conception, just for being a human being; rights are not handed down by a government. Not having a policy in these areas simply means in the eyes of the government, all marriages and civil unions, and sex, are the same in regards to all individuals, blind to race or sexual orientation.
