MessageMr Speaker,

Although we oppose the nomination of Solentia to Seat B on the Security Council, we cannot in good conscience oppose bilateral trade with countries.

The details of this treaty are simple. We are going to establish an agreement to reduce or eliminate tariffs, import quotas, export restraints and other trade barriers. Solentia and Talmoria via their Customs and Excise Authorities agree to speed up the movement of goods and clearance through Customs as well as simplify and make available to the trading community information on procedures for the international transit of goods, the required documentation and the mode of transport.

It will permit the creation of joint business, trade and economic councils that seek to promote, develop, and improve industrial and technological cooperation, resolve disputes, and formulate sound policy strategies to promote fairness and freedom of trade between Talmoria and Solentia.

Ease of travel and companies based in Talmoria having the right to conduct operations in Solentia to reach the Majatran continental market is one which will benefit not only Talmoria, but our people.

This is a treaty that promotes liberal free trade, liberal economic policy, liberal ideals. We are the Liberal Democratic Party. We like these things and therefore will be supporting this treaty.

MessageMr Speaker,

Solentia is slowly becoming our closest and most treasured ally. It is therefore only right that we take our relationship to the next step by consolidating it in law via this excellent treaty.

This treaty will allow for shared economic prosperity and further social freedoms across Terra.

MessageMr Speaker,

We should be opening our country up to the world, looking to strike trade deals and secure mutual prosperity for Talmorians and foreign nationals alike. Tariffs to trade benefit nobody and it's time we brought them under control with deals such as these.

MessageMr Speaker,

where does government stands in the process of negotiation? Is this treaty still up on the table? If so, than we should move it to vote. It will be beneficial for both our nations. Fair trade and free market will all nations should be our goal.
