Date | 03:12:06, February 18, 2006 CET | From | Panty Party Party | To | Debating the Sozialbundnis Plan VII |
Message | Power corrupts. Giving police the ability to define unsafe measures and disperse a crowd gives them too much power. |

Message | So what is the alternative? |
Date | 14:39:43, February 18, 2006 CET | From | Bloc Socialiste | To | Debating the Sozialbundnis Plan VII |
Message | You must see that there are several alternatives. If humans were by nature responsible, uncorruptible creatures, then the total breakdown of the government and the police would be welcome, as they would be uneccessary. The only difference between the government and the police is that the government usually acts for positive change, where the police act in response to negative or perceived negative deeds. That gives the police tremendous power, power which is oft misused. Let the people protest. |
